Wild Kestrel Hide Rental
We have a beautiful pair of resident kestrels at the farm. They are used to coming to the feeding perch during the day for a snack. These small birds of prey are a little more shy compared to our barn owls and buzzards so you will need a lens of at least 500mm to photograph them, depending on your shooting style.
Please be aware that these are wild birds so the frequency and duration of their visits can be unpredictable. They do however visit the set-up regularly and if undisturbed, will stay for several minutes at a time. We hope that you will be able to capture a few pleasing images of this beautiful species by the end of the session.
You will be provided with good information upon booking but this is not an instructional workshop.
You may consider booking the Buzzard Hide which takes place in the morning and the Barn Owl session in the evening.
Cost
£ 130 GBP per person (hide rental only).
£ 350 GBP if booked with Buzzard and Barn Owl Hides on the same day.
